Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Pete (also referred to as “AskPete”), a private portfolio- and transaction-management application available at app.askpete.ai (the “Service”), operated by AOK Partners, LLC (“AOK Partners,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Pete is an invitation-only business application that helps AOK Partners and authorized users manage entities, ownership, investments, financial data, documents, and related operations. The Service is not a consumer product and is not offered to the general public.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized by AOK Partners or your organization to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • access or use the Service without authorization, or attempt to circumvent access controls;
  • use the Service for any unlawful, infringing, or fraudulent purpose;
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of the Service;
  • reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law; or
  • upload malware or content you do not have the right to use.

4. Your Content

You and your organization retain all rights to the data and documents you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and operate the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights necessary to submit Your Content and that it complies with applicable law.

5. Third-Party Services and Google Integration

The Service integrates with third-party services, including Google Drive (optional, initiated by you). Your use of Google services through the Service is also subject to Google’s terms and policies. Our access to and use of Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by AOK Partners and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended business purpose. No other rights are granted.

7. Confidentiality

The Service and the non-public information made available through it are confidential. You agree to use them only for authorized business purposes and not to disclose them to unauthorized parties.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AOK PARTNERS AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AOK Partners and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute will be the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
